Description:
The Montecucco Riserva is produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes carefully chosen and selected. Conditioning takes place, not less than 18 months in French oak barrels followed by a further refinement in the bottle for at least 6 months before the wine is sold. The color is intense ruby red while the scent is seductive, with light hints of jam, vanilla, licorice. Much good structure, good tannins, the balance is particularly interesting between wine and soft woods in which it is aged.
