Orciaverde farm, situated in a hilly position and with a particularly propitious microclimate to
produce valuable wines, also give origin to a very good extra virgin olive oil.
Our plants, south-west oriented, extend for 2 hectares for an amount of about 800 trees, among
which we recognize 3 varieties: leccino, frantoiano and moraiolo.
The blend that comes after origins that particular medium fruity aroma which distinguishes our oil and characterizes its typicality.
Orciaverde’s oil exclusively originates from our farm’s olives, hand-picked starting from from mid-October, when we have an optimum ripening. The prompt crushing (within 12 hours) and the cold-pressed allow to obtain a very fruity oil with a very low degree of acidity.
