Organoleptic characteristics:
- Colour: deep rubin red with purple reflections.
- Aroma: floreal, fruity.

The deep rubin red colour, the particular softness and its persistant fruit aroma are the features that mark it and make it appreciable.

As far as concern winemaking we underline the long skin contact, frequent pumping-over in the initial stage and the constant temperature monitored and maintained not over 28°. The conditioning for about 10 months in French oak cask, finally, gives to "sangiovese" tipology the particular flavour of soft woods in which has been refined and polymerized tannins. The colour is a characteristic intense rubin red.
Montecucco Sangiovese Riserva DOC
Organoleptic characteritics:

- Aroma: ripe fruit, jam, spicy, licorice, vanilla.
- Flavour: harmonic, full bodied, taste of soft woods.
- Food pairings: feathered game, very seasoned cheese, meditation.

Description:
Montecucco Riserva is produced from 100% sangiovese grapes carefully chosen and selected. Conditioning, not less than 18 months, takes place in French oak cask followed by a further refining in bottles for at least 6 months before the wine is sold. The colour is an intense rubin red while the bouquet is seductive, with light scents of jam, vanilla, licorice. Very good structure, good tannin, particularly interesting is the balance between wine and soft woods in which has been refined.
